It is increasingly recognized today and accepting that cost reduction programs and reengineering processes alone cannot optimize profit potentials. Profit potential cannot be realized until all items in store are priced to produce the ideal balance between volume and profit.
To establish the right pricing strategies, information is needed regarding Analysis of Market Conditions, Competitive Audits, Price Elasticity.
With the term Pricing Research we encompass a family of proprietary research techniques tailored to answer specific needs of the customer - Retailer, Wholesaler, Producer, Distributor etc. For the Retailer, for example, questions pertaining to price, promotion, variety, time of a new product to enter the market etc can be addressed and answered.
For data collection we have developed a nation wide network of professionally trained researchers based on 8 Greek cites. Permanent researchers teams are stationed in Athens, Thessalonica, Ioannina, Larissa, Patra, Heraklio, Volos and Hania that comprise more than 85% of Greek population. All data capture work is facilitated by the use of electronic scanners and notebooks while all data are communicated to the company databases in Athens through email or GPRS networks.
Although each market exhibits different characteristics of pricing practices and standards, data collection, analysis and pricing model building across market segments can be well served by our technical infrastructure and experience personnel.
